FAQ
Is there a charge for the recipients of my documents to use them?
No, neither now nor in the future. The recipient is informed of the signature request by email and only has to open the document and sign it. Recipients do not have to pay anything and do not need any special training. Signing is quick and easy. Both you and the recipient will then receive a copy of the document.
What is a 14-day free trial?
As part of a 14-day trial subscription, you can fully test the app and discover the advantages of electronic signatures. If you decide within the period of 14 days not to continue the trial subscription, we will not charge anything.
Are the electronic signatures from tegolySIGN legally valid?
Of course! We adhere to strict US and EU e-signature laws, use bank-style security, provide two ways to authenticate the signer’s identity, and include a comprehensive, court-approved protocol with every transaction. See our Terms of Use for more information.
Am I bound to specific time periods for the subscriptions?
The decision is yours: The monthly subscriptions are only extended by one month at a time. With an annual subscription, you pay an annual fee and commit yourself for the next 12 months – but with a discount.
Are there any restrictions on the 14-day free trial?
The free trial has no limitations on the number of signatures or documents. However, the number of users is limited to 5 during this period. With the start of a regular subscription you can then add as many users as you like.
Are signatures legally binding during the test period?
Yes. Every signature made via our app meets the relevant security standards and is a legally binding proof of contract.
Who is a sender?
Senders are people who upload, sign and send documents via tegolySIGN or who request signatures from other people via tegolySIGN .
Who is not a sender?
Someone who receives and responds to a signature request is not considered a sender. Such users do not need a tegolySIGN account to sign documents and the process is free for them.
When does the billing start?
You can – during or at the end of the free trial period – choose the subscription you want and the number of users. You will be billed when the trial period has expired.
How is payment made?
You can pay by credit card payments through the app or in the MS Store. Contact our team if you prefer a different payment method.
How is the billing done?
Monthly subscriptions are billed monthly. For annual subscriptions you pay an annual fee in advance.

Yes, your subscription will automatically renew unless you change or cancel your subscription. You can do this in seconds via the account settings.
